Thank you for your review. We are sorry you were unhappy with the estimate, but no repair work was carried out by Xpress. We quoted from the MOT failure, which included a dangerous tyre defect and major steering, suspension and driveshaft defects. Our estimate was prepared on a worst-case basis; if less time or fewer parts are needed, the final bill is reduced. It allowed for quality Delphi parts and Hunter 3D wheel alignment after steering/suspension work. This is important to return the vehicle close to manufacturer settings and help prevent poor handling or uneven tyre wear.The repair carried out elsewhere used different, lower-cost parts and, importantly, that garage does not have 3D wheel alignment facilities, so the price is not a like-for-like comparison. Xpress provides a 24-36 month parts and labour warranty where applicable, not the standard 12 months many garages offer, plus nationwide support through our approved repair programme. Our priority is safe, professional repairs.
